GOOGLE GEMINI AI VS. CHATGPT 2024

With the launch of its advanced artificial intelligence model, Gemini, Google has announced a significant milestone in surpassing OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Already operational in Bard, the company’s chatbot, Gemini represents a leap in AI science and technology, utilizing multimodal AI to handle complex tasks involving text, images, audio, video, and programming languages.

Gemini stands out for its multifaceted understanding of the world and is set to be integrated into various Google products and services, including Ads, Chrome, and Duet AI in the coming months. Available in three versions – Gemini Ultra, Pro, and Nano – each is designed to cater to different levels of complexity and efficiency.

Notably, Gemini boasts five times the computational power of GPT-4 and is the first model to surpass human experts in processing and analytical capabilities. Its innovation lies in its native multimodal training approach, enabling broader understanding and reasoning across diverse information types.

The model also benefits from Google’s internally developed chips, providing a unique performance edge.

For corporate clients and developers, Gemini Pro will be accessible through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI starting December 13th. While AI Studio offers free resources for prototype development and app creation, Vertex AI allows customization of Gemini with a focus on data security and compliance.

Furthermore, Google plans to launch Bard Advanced, a new advanced AI experience, in early 2024, further solidifying its position in the artificial intelligence arena.
